Thank you! I think the tenderness was definitely there when I was writing it. Certainly part of being a good top is figuring what the bottom needs, and that's actually quite a sweet thing. Might not seem it with the whips, but there you go. *g* And Rodney is clever enough to do a whole pile of research about it, about how to check in with John when he's in subspace, how to make him chill the fuck out. I do love them both.
